Shire Productions
As I have noted elsewhere, I am proud to support Shire Productions as their Official Photographer, and am delighted to be an honorary member of this fine amateur dramatic company which provides performances adapted from the works of J.R.R. Tolkien each year at the Tolkien Weekend at Sarehole Mill.
Although actors from Shire Productions sometimes feature in my 'On the Trail of Tolkien' project, I take far more pictures of their productions whch hopefully not only offer a record of their work but also reflect the spirit of Tolkien which suffuses everything that they do in this regard. Here is a small exhibition selected from the many pictures I have taken of Shire Productions, some with 'special effects'. This exhibition will grow as time permits, so keep on coming back!
